ive always been a huge fan of portraits done in any medium, and last night i was introduced to the almost hypnotic paintings of Alison Blickle. the show was at a small but well curated space put together by the cutest couple ever which is definitely worth venturing over to - Thierry Goldberg Gallery.
the use of the layering in the painting is so amazing. and the colors. me oh my!

As soon as I get rich I want to buy one of her paintings. I told her that one of the heads in her current work looks like Lisa Cant and I asked her where she got that face from. It's a total coincidence.
