today everyone in new york is happy
the dogs are peeing in the street
happy
the kids are playing basketball in the parks
happy
the cab drivers are driving with their windows down
happy
the tourists that came here on a lucky late winter week are
happy
the midtown business people are taking their lunch breaks at delis
happy
the elderly ladies are standing out on the sidewalks with their walkers
happy
and most of all im happy
cause im in canvas shoes and a chambray shirt
im talking no jacket happy!
