so i can like genuinely say ive listened to phoenix for so many years and now all of a sudden not only are they huge but all the "cool kids" like them too. what the hell. how did this happen.
you are all lame but atleast im finally not going to be teased.
alright so the real meaning behind this meal is that i am so desperately affected about what is going on in haiti.
i really wish i could comfortably donate more money to the charities that are supporting all the hurt, homeless, grieving people affected by the earth quake.
its funny how as consumers we always need need need but never really stop to think about what we "really" need. i mean i have a nice apartment, clean running water, and more clothes than i can really wear, but thats never enough.
i say before every unnecessary purchase you make in the next week think first, and then try and donate that money instead. if you really feel like you need it - try to spend an equal amount in donation form. after the credit card swipes we only really get to enjoy those items for a short period of time. why not save a life instead!
i mean could you ask for anything more? grace c & martha s - its like taking every amazing thing about fashion and homemaking and stuffing it into the worlds best vintage jam jar with a antique victorian grosgrain ribbon.
our president holidays in hawaii and wears khaki shorts while eating his namesaken shaved ice.
KAILUA, Hawaii (AP) — President Barack Obama took his daughters and friends Friday to sample a Hawaiian delicacy of ice shavings and flavored syrup, joshing with his group about winning college football teams on New Year's Day.
Obama and about 20 people drove to a shave ice store the president has visited during past trips to Hawaii. He ordered a flavor combination of lemon-lime, cherry and passion-guava syrups.
"It's the Snowbama," Obama said, noting that the store lists the combination on its menu.
He chose not to add sweet azuki red beans or ice cream, as some people do in Hawaii.
"I like my shave ice straight, no frills," said a casual Obama, wearing a white T-shirt, khaki shorts and sandals.
About 100 people packed into a shopping center parking lot to catch a glimpse of the vacationing president and his girls, who have largely stayed out of public view while on the island of Oahu.
While waiting in line Obama teased a friend who rooted for Oregon. The Ducks lost to Ohio State in the Rose Bowl earlier in the day.
"He's heartbroken, so I'm buying him shave ice," Obama said.
i am the most beatiful jacket ever. and if i didnt cost $813 on sale i would be at home with my good friend shannon. another piece of evidence that khaki is in fact king of colors. "creatures of comfort"
escapade....esplanade my favorite word as of 5 minutes ago.
An esplanade is a long, open, level area, usually next to a river or large body of water, where people may walk. This allows people to promenade along the sea front, usually for recreational purposes, whatever the state of the tide, without having to walk on the beach. Esplanades became popular in Victorian times when it was fashionable to visit seaside resorts. i mean who doesnt like that?
