The unit can also be fitted with defensive devices customized to the requests of the purchasers such as tear gas spray, robotic arms, or projectile weaponry. The unit is equipped with a bio-chemical filter in case of bio-chemical attack and a rebreather system to enable the operator to seal off all outside air and provide breathable air for a specified amount of time. This system is used in such a case where the unit operator may need to release tear gas or another form of gaseous material in defense against a burglar or terrorist. The rebreather system is also useful as the ultimate protection (safe room) from weapons of mass destruction that may be used during biological warfare, chemical warfare, bio-chemical attack or other type gas attack that could release an unknown or new form of hazardous gas. There are doors on either side of the unit next to the headboard that have an emergency release button that when pressed will cause the doors to pop open in case of mechanical failure or loss of power to the operating systems.

The consumer has the choice of the unit bedding sizing and shape (i.e. circular instead of rectangular), units built for fire resistance with laminated fire retardant plastics and water circulation systems,video screen adapted to the head cover shield for playing video games and for computer hookups. There will be models with integrated PC systems. Family units (Quantum Sleepers tailored for families with two or more units electronically linked together) will be equipped so that a parent or guardian can remotely operate the children’s units from their sleeper and be able to view and talk with them from the safety of the their unit. Additional design features may include structural reinforcing to provide protection from tornados, hurricanes, earthquakes and floods making this an even more secure safe bed, safe room & bomb shelter.

okay so i would like to start this off by telling you that i just made the most incredibly burnt toast ever out of the last piece of bread. so of course i wasnt gonna throw it away. layer on the peanut butter, honey, and flax seeds.

and im guessing you are wondering why i made such a incredible burnt breakfast this morning....well i will tell you.

last night i saw yacht play and it ruled and i have a brain ache from the fun and the libations.

there was this whole light show and band playing with them. like seriously it was as show. costumes and all. serious fun stuff.

but you guys its kind of crazy because this is how i remember seeing him live a few years ago. well a few years may be like 4 years so i guess thats more than a few.....

whatever it was amazinggggggggggggggg!

i also learned about this thing. this amazing new weird scary thing. it was talk of the town. all the cool people are doing it. the artists were talking about it at my friends opening, then yacht had this song about it, and now i just checked a blog i havent looked at in a year and no kidding she was talking about it. the universe is connecting right around my head.

its funny how as consumers we always need need need but never really stop to think about what we "really" need. i mean i have a nice apartment, clean running water, and more clothes than i can really wear, but thats never enough.

i say before every unnecessary purchase you make in the next week think first, and then try and donate that money instead. if you really feel like you need it - try to spend an equal amount in donation form. after the credit card swipes we only really get to enjoy those items for a short period of time. why not save a life instead!

Obama and about 20 people drove to a shave ice store the president has visited during past trips to Hawaii. He ordered a flavor combination of lemon-lime, cherry and passion-guava syrups.

preface: vacations rule!

our first stop was the natural bridge in virginia. we werent really sure where our first night was going to be spent but we kept seeing roadsigns for this natural bridge and we were like we have to go. it was really beautiful but they had all these funny touristy things there. like a wax museum, toy museum, and monster museum. weird. the night we checked into the hotel we got passes to watch a christian light show explaining the 7 days of creation at the bridge. it was out of control! everyone was around 75 years old. my target demographic.

our mountain cabins!

we got into town so late that everything was closed. asheville is kind of way too hippy even for me. im talking teva sandals, wool socks, weird smelly hippys playing guitar in the streets. eww.

but we ate some good food thats for sure.

the cabins were built in the 1930's and used in a robert mitchum movie. wow.

the dogwood flower. my new favorite. and a tiny sliver of my creepy eye.

fact 1: pioneer men used to chew on the dogwood bark to clean their teeth.

fact 2: in the wind a dogwood plants branches rub together often sounding like a dog barking.

also a state flower that i infact picked. oops.
